We’re growing our business
to help grow yours

We’re so glad to finally make it official! We hope your transition has been smooth and you feel at home as our two Associations become one. It’s a great match – we share the same core values of commitment to the success of our members and their operations, to our employees, and to our communities.

The merger will help us provide expanded services to our members and create a more diverse Association. Together, we have more experts providing deep and lasting value to our customers and prospective customers. And we maintain a deep commitment to our New Mexico roots through our Rural Roots Endowment, a fund that will keep the capital raised by New Mexico members invested right there – rooted in New Mexico agriculture.

Again, welcome to American AgCredit. We’re honored to be on this journey with you and are excited about all our collective future holds.

Welcome to American AgCredit

Now that Farm Credit of New Mexico and American AgCredit are one Farm Credit association, we’re bringing more to customers, employees, and the Farm Credit mission!

More value for customers

The merged Association will create scale to reduce operating costs, fuel technology investment, and improve customer experience. As one association, the cooperative will build a competitive advantage based on expertise across all segments of agriculture and provide stability through market volatility improve profitability and patronage consistency.

More for New Mexico agriculture

We are proud of our deep legacy of serving farmers and ranchers across our territory – and including New Mexico. Our commitment to agriculture is unchanged. Agriculture is our expertise, and it is’s all we do. The core New Mexico team will continue to serve the farmers and ranchers of New Mexico from all five of the existing branch locations.

To further our commitment to New Mexico agriculture now and into the future, the merged American AgCredit is establishing a $10 million Rural Roots Endowment designed to provide grants and direct funds to New Mexico Agriculture organizations.

To manage the endowment American AgCredit has partnered with the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico (CFSNM).  This endowment will strengthen agricultural grant making throughout New Mexico.

CFSNM will serve as a fiduciary nonprofit partner for these funds. The growth endowment will be in perpetuity, which will allow the Advisory Committee of the Rural Roots Endowment to fund agricultural work for generations to come.

More to grow your future

Our customers are growing, adapting, and changing the shape of agriculture, and we are evolving our organization to support this growth. The size, capital and diversified expertise of the merged association will provide opportunities to continue to power the pursuit of our mission – serving farmers and ranchers today, and tomorrow. It’s an exciting time to be part of Farm Credit!
